About me
The life path that led me to my passion of working as a holistic psychotherapist and counsellor has had many twists and turns, rock bottoms and joy. It has taken me around the world and immersed me in varied, yet relevant, careers. What was I seeking with all this movement and change? I now understand that I was searching for my purpose, my reason for being, with a tendency to look externally for validation, not acknowledging or understanding that what I was looking for was within me all along. I now hold immense gratitude for the spectrum of experiences that enable me to support others as they navigate their own paths. I am encouraged every day to continue my own journey of self-discovery and healing as I walk alongside my clients.
Having started my career as an analyst in an investment bank in London, I truly understand what it feels like to find yourself in totally the wrong place; stuck, disenfranchised, and questioning what the point of it all is. By taking notice of the very clear signals that my body and mind were giving me to pay attention and re-direct my path towards a more congruent existence, I managed to pull myself out of the depths and start connecting with what was right for me rather that what was expected of me. In addition to working as a psychotherapist and counsellor, I am a mother, a former primary school teacher, and a 200hr trained Yoga teacher. I bring aspects of all my life and professional experiences into my work with clients.
